About Joanna
I'm a Glasgow based Tutor with over 7 years of experience working with children, teens and adults with disabilities and impairments in education. I've worked with students from ages 15 - 85 years old and tailor support to be student-specific.
This covers everything from essay support, language support, group work, exam revision / preparation and study skills.
I have an MA in Screenwriting and BA (Hons) in English Language and Computing; so my experience in studies covers the creative and the technical. I've also worked as an exam invigilator and moderator for assessments.
I'm patient, energetic, logical, think outside the box and don't quit on anyone. My teaching style embraces theory and application, as every student is different and we all learn differently. I also teach Digital Filmmaking at degree level at a private university with adults aged 18 and over. When it comes down to it, I like to work with students at their pace and level.
