About Maanya
I'm a 19-year-old student at King's College London. I am from India and have lived in the Philippines for the last 16 years of my life. I completed the International Baccalaureate programme with a 42/45, and a 7 in Higher Level English A: Language and Literature. I enjoy helping others learn and understand the work that they are given, and believe that though English is a difficult subject to master, there are many insightful tips and techniques that I can offer to help someone gain more confidence in their essay writing, literacy, test taking abilities, and more.

I'm happy to call on any platform! It would be great to get a few days notice as to what the student would like to work on during the call, so I can prepare a loose structure of the session! I can help with all aspects of essay writing, from the structuring and planning at the beginning, to the late editing and citation stages. I can also help students learn basics, such as proper structuring techniques for different types of essays (compare and contrast essays vs. literature analysis vs. advertisement analysis in language and literature), help students streamline their essay-writing process, giving tips as to how to improve their current writing as well as how to approach future projects, and even help them understand pieces of text or literature that they are struggling to comprehend.
