About Ruby
Hi!
I'm a 1st year Neuroscience student at UCL, and I enjoy working with tutees who are enthusiastic about achieving their academic potential.
I received 5x grade 8 and 5x grade 9 at GCSE, so am excited to share my successful, practical strategies and techniques to ensure that my tutees can also access competitive grades!

I bring enthusiasm and passion to my tutoring, looking to help challenge and stretch ambitious young pupils to achieve their potential. With over two years of tutoring experience across Mathematics and English Lang/Lit, I am familiar with what works well for pupils, and their general weaknesses. I use this insight to ensure common mistakes are addressed, so that tutees can access competitive GCSE grades.
I usually tutor in 1hr-1.5hr sessions. I start with discussion and revision surrounding theory for an agreed topic, then application of the knowledge with general exam question practice to expose pupils to the full range of potential question set-ups. However, I am flexible to meeting the tutee's needs.
