About Sarah

Hi! I’m Sarah Benson from Ohio, USA. I have been an English teacher for over 20 years. I started as a high school English teacher, but later on, I discovered how fulfilling it is to teach students trying to learn English as a second or foreign language. I started teaching ESL for a Korean company, then later on I spent 16 years working for a European company teaching ESL to students from all over the world. I studied literature in college, and I dabble a bit in writing poetry. I also love music. I play the piano and the guitar, I love singing while doing it. My ultimate dream is to open up a B&B in one of the islands of my home country where people who want to learn English can come and spend the summer relaxing and learning English at the same time.

About the lesson

Learning English gets easier if it’s fun and useful. My lessons are customized based on the student’s needs and priorities. We will focus on what you’ll need to learn for you to be able to use English comfortably the soonest as possible. I look forward to helping you!

I studied with Sarah fot 2yrs. She is a really great teacher. We talked about many topics. We spoke over the phone, but no matter what tooics we covered, she let me practice different expressions. I had many teachers, but Sarah was the teacher who helped me the most with my poor English skills. She also corrected my prounciation a lot. I highly recommend her as a English teacher.
