About Tim
I'm a qualified teacher of English and the author of several books. I firmly believe that confidence in written and spoken communication is a key element in social mobility, as well as educational and professional success. While my focus is on the English curriculum, these skills are useful in all classroom subjects and in your wider life beyond school or college.

I create customised lessons for Y7-11 students, focusing specifically on areas in the language and literature curriculum the student finds more challenging. I use one-on-one discussion and writing to explore areas that classroom teachers often don't have the time to explore. Lessons last around an hour, but this is negotiable.
I am a qualified teacher of secondary English with experience in the UK and Asia.
