About Anna

Hi! I am a recent college graduate with a degree in English. I love reading and writing, as you might assume, and would be greatly honored if you, the student, would allow me to help you in your own studies of reading and writing! I am here to guide students in essay writing, literature analysis, critical thinking, and understanding complex concepts in the world of literature. With my expertise in Latin and grammar I can help students with their vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. My goal is to help you not only improve your academic performance but also develop skills that will benefit you beyond the classroom. I look forward to working with you—let’s achieve your goals together!

About the lesson

Each session is between 30-60 minutes, depending on the student's needs, homework, or schedule. We will review what the student is learning in the subject or class, go over their work, and proceed with the lesson in accordance with the help needed. When working with essays and papers, I will work with the student on proficient grammar and syntax, vocabulary, and all-around flow. I will not write it for them, but encourage critical thinking and problem solving, adapting and overcoming obstacles the student may be facing in their studies. I am here to help them along and grow in their own way, teaching them how to think critically. My lessons are geared towards middle school and high school students who are needing a little extra help in writing to their full potential.
