About Megan
I graduated from Pomona College in May with a Bachelor's in English, and I've been offering essay editing and planning services to my peers for two years. I'm looking to extend my services to high schoolers as well. My students will come away with the tools they need to communicate clearly in writing and come up with unique ideas. I can also assist with understanding difficult texts.

I work with a combination of abstract brainstorming techniques and tried and true formulas for successful evidence-based essay writing. I believe that rules and constraints can be great instructional tools, but I'm also flexible – after all, rules were made to be broken (in the appropriate circumstances!). I have extensive knowledge of English grammar, and I'll provide students with a "cheat sheet" for preventing future grammatical errors in addition to proofreading papers.

Details
Because of the COVID risk, my rate for in-person lessons is increased to $30/hour. If a student cancels within 12 hours of a lesson, there will be a $10 cancellation fee.
