About Madeline
I'm an English and Education student at Pace University with hands-on experience supporting students of all ages. I've worked as a substitute teacher, including one-on-one writing and ELA support across multiple grade levels, and I've provided peer tutoring at both the high school and college level. I specialize in helping students strengthen their writing—from spelling and grammar to essays and creative work. I’m patient, reliable, and always prepared, and I strive to make every session encouraging, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs.

As a current English/Education undergrad at Pace University, I believe that learning should feel supportive, not stressful. I tailor each session to the student’s needs—whether we're building the basics with young learners or fine-tuning essays for high school and college students. My approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on building both skill and confidence. A typical lesson might include reviewing writing assignments, practicing grammar and spelling, brainstorming for essays, or exploring creative writing prompts. No matter the age or level, I meet students where they’re at and help them move forward at a pace that works for them.
