About Helem
I've got 7 years of experience and preparation for teaching the language in the USA. 7 years teaching in Brazil, of these, 5 studying Letters, followed by 3 years of research on Learning in the master's degree. Since then, I have been experimenting with new ways of assisting students in learning to improve their study techniques and oral practice.

If your focus is on finding a teacher who can efficiently assist you in improving your oral proficiency / pronunciation by speaking in English in a laid-back way, you have just done so.
I have deep respect for differences of all kinds and an open mind, which enables me to talk about any kind of subject.
In class, I use knowledge from my personal experience with Phonics, Singing and Neuro-Linguistics. In addition, I give super important tips, when requested, so that the student knows where and how to search for content and develop a productive routine, and I give tips on how to improve and develop in an autonomous way the skills not explored during the conversation class.
The base materials for the conversations are those preferred by the student, with no restrictions or prejudices.

Helem é focada no resultado. Com ela não tem enrolação pra prender o aluno. Tem sempre uma dica de como a gente pode dá um improve na língua, de como incorporar o idioma no nosso dia a dia, de como acelerar o nosso desenvolvimento. Especialista e exigente com pronúncia, na escola, seus estudantes eram destaque.
