About Fabiola
In my early years of school, I lived in Africa from South. I had a small problem in my speech and so I spent between the first and second class in extensive speech therapy in English. Something which is currently completely unoticable. During speech therapy I learned the most correct ways to speak and pronounce English. My secondary school was the International School of Maputo, Mozambique in British system of Cambridge, where I obtained the International General Certificate of Secondary Education. Being in an international school and at the highest levels of English, I always tutured school mates who were or lower class or a level of infrior English. Gaining a liking for providing tutor lessons and also to be able to make some extra money I chose to dedicate myself to this at a part-time basis for students of Portuguese and Mozambican schools.

My name is Fabiola Gonçalves, I'm 26 years old and was born in South Africa and raised in Mozambique. Besides having English and Portuguese as mother tongues, my education, whether school or university, it was always in English. While living in Mozambique during my school years gave tutor lesons in English. I have my bachelors in the hospitality inustry in which I currently work, therefore I communicate mostly in English, so it is my life! In regards to the tutor lessons, each student has their requirements and different forms of learning. I´d firstly like to meet each student to then determine the best way to proceed in regards to teaching. After a conversation/discussion with the pupil we will be able to come up with the best methods for the specific student at hand to learn. I do not believe in just teaching the essential, I want every student who I teach to be able to properly speak English, which I believe will be very useful in future. To achieve this, we will not only be following the pupils school requirements, but also implementing english in the most day to day activities, such as reading for example.
