About Megan
I am a primary school teacher with a BA Hons degree. Having grown up in the British education system, I have a strong understanding of the standards and expectations it upholds.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching both the British and Cambridge curriculum in the classroom, as well as tutoring children in preparation for the 11+ and SATs examinations across Maths, English, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.
Teaching is not just my career-it is my passion. I truly love what I do and cannot imagine myself in any other profession. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, engaging, and meaningful for every student. I believe that when learning is fun and confidence is built, children not only succeed academically but also develop a genuine love for learning that lasts a lifetime. I look forward to supporting and inspiring your child on their learning journey.

Tutoring children to become more proficient in Maths, English, NVR and VR as well as preparing to take the 11+ and the SATs. I can set homework if needed.

The first lesson will involve me getting to know your child, their strengths and weaknesses and how best they learn. From there, we will work towards building confidence in the subject and working through the curriculum. If we are preparing for the SATs or specific 11+, we will work through past papers and tips and tricks to best help them thrive when sitting the exam.
Every child learns differently and it is my goal to create a safe space where learning can be fun and your child can flourish. I love what I do and could not imagine ever having another profession. I enjoy being able to make the learning experience fun and exciting, whilst building confidence and a joy for learning.

My daughter, Nicola, needed focused support on her comprehension and vocabulary skills while she prepped for 11+. Megan supported her and gave homework specific to the skills they were working on in the lesson. Megan also looked at verbal reasoning skills specific to 11+. I was very happy with the feedback I was given as a parent and felt I could reach out at any time.
My daughter needed support with both English and Maths. Megan supported her fantastically. She was kind and understanding to my child’s needs and found novel ways to explain complicated concepts. My daughter looked forward to lessons and enjoyed learning with Megan.
