About Leila
My name is Leela, and I love helping people learn and appreciate literature. As a child, I would read books well into the night by flashlight (and eventually led to my needing glasses),those moments taught me to love books, and I want to be able to share that with others. When it comes to math, I remember feeling absolutely helpless in math; not being able to understand anything my teachers were saying. But that didn't mean I was dumb, or stupid, it just meant I learnt differently, and I want to be able to help other students that are struggling, and ensure that they have the support they need to feel confident in their mathematical abilities.

Lessons are based around what the student needs and teacher feedback if any has been provided. Weak areas that the student identifies or is identified in lessons become the focus for future sessions. Each lesson runs for a minimum of one hour and up to two hours. I have tutored in the past (mainly for friends and family friends), and have had much success with students feeling happy with their results. Lessons are based primarily around Years 7 through to 11, or ages 13 to 16.
