About Gary
Hello, my name is Gary. I am currently a Part 1 student of the Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Auckland (current GPA 9.0). I graduated from high school with an excellence endorsement and four NCEA scholarships in Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Statistics. I have taught my classmates and supported them to higher grades, with my specific approach and exam skills. I am interested in Geography, History and Philosophy. We can have many common topics and activities to talk about and have fun in courses.

With past understanding and skills solving the questions, and some upgraded knowledge from university, I would like to offer personalised, systematic, and comprehensive tutoring on different levels and requirements. The tutoring is easy and interesting with examples, different approaches and past questions.
My tutoring focuses on the steps of understanding, guidance, and practice. The courses are not limited to question-solving, but also point to the basic knowledge system and learning approach. In my opinion, tutoring should be an integral part of the subject system construction, allowing learners to build on fundamentals while considering different perspectives.
My teaching experience includes teaching my classmates in high school and university, as well as a 4-month casual tutoring job at ThinkingCaps in 2025. I would like to offer classes under 2 hours on NCEA calculus, physics and chemistry and their NCEA scholarships, at a rate of $35 per hour. Any discussion on durations and tutoring content is welcome.
