Hi, my name is Dohu and I am an experienced private tutor with over 4 months of tutoring experience. I graduated with a 99.4 ATAR, scoring top marks for all subjects that I teach. I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in lessons. I have been private tutoring for over 6 months at multiple tutoring companies, with my lessons ranging from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes long. My lessons are aimed at year 11 and 12 students who are taking the HSC. My lessons structure is:
At the start of each lesson, we’ll go over what we are going to cover and address any questions from school or the previous session.
We’ll then work through the relevant syllabus content, focusing on understanding the theory and how it’s applied in exam-style questions.
I’ll model how to approach questions step-by-step.
You’ll then do targeted practice questions while I give feedback and help fix any misunderstandings.
At the end, we’ll summarize what we covered, identify any weaknesses, and I’ll set homework for the next lesson.
