About Charmaine
Hello, my name is Charmaine! I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) at Monash University Malaysia. I have experience in peer-tutoring classmates and juniors, and I have been a part-time tutor for a year. I specialize in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Physics for SPM level. I am capable of tutoring UPSR and PBS candidates as well. As a student myself, I am fully aware of the stressful challenges that are faced. I believe that with my guidance, students are one step closer to achieving their academic and life goals!

A general overview of my tutoring approach starts off with reviewing key concepts and worked examples of a topic to obtain a better understanding. Followingly, students will be given additional worksheet questions to solve. Students are always encouraged to ask questions as this is a crucial part for improvement and effective learning. At the end of the lesson, a short recap is conducted to ensure that the learning material has been absorbed by the student and that all learning outcomes are achieved.

It is understandable that each individual possess different levels of strengths and capabilities. Therefore, I analyze my student's academic progress and identify the area of difficulty in order to tackle weaknesses. Customized/personal lesson plans are curated to meet every students' individual needs.
My teaching techniques include:
- Homework guidance
- Practice past year papers while focusing on important UPSR/PBS/SPM questions
- Provide constructive feedback
- Provide student notes (upon request & availability)
