About Yashvi
I’m a University of Toronto Engineering student with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students feel more confident in their learning. In high school, I completed the Ontario French Certificate after taking French all four years, and I consistently achieved 97+ in mathematics, which helped me build a solid foundation in problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into simpler steps and explaining them in a way that actually makes sense, not just memorizing methods. My goal is to create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, build strong understanding, and improve their confidence over time.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of theory first, then reinforcing it through guided practice using textbook questions, trick questions, and mock tests to strengthen problem-solving and exam readiness. A typical lesson includes reviewing prior concepts, introducing new material in a simple and clear way, working through progressively challenging questions, and ending with a short recap or practice set to check understanding. What sets me apart is my focus on clarity, patience, and ensuring students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing steps, while adapting to their learning pace and needs. My lessons are designed for K–12 students across all levels who need support with understanding theory, improving problem-solving skills, and preparing for tests and exams.
