About Anjela
I am currently taking a year off from my Biomedical Engineering course in the University of Glasgow (I have completed the first three years with excellent grades). I have graduated a mathematics high school and attended many national and international competitions.
I am new to tutoring, however, I have helped many friends and classmates with their maths related subjects throughout the years.

I think maths is not only a fantastic subject, but also a way of thinking. My aim is to convince you in this statement. I believe an analytical approach serves best for solving any type of problem. I would ask you questions, guiding you towards the solutions, rather than telling them to you straight away. I would like to teach you how to intuitively know what to look for in a problem.
In my lessons, I would first go over the theory rather quickly. This would be followed by many examples, going back to the theory in some of them in order to clarify what is going on.

I have known Anjela for several years. Her very strong school Maths background, allied to her experience of university studies, patience and engaging enthusiasm means that she's an excellent tutor. If she lived nearer to us I would be happy for her to tutor my daughter, currently studying Higher Maths.
Anjela is a very good friend of mine who has tutored me in Maths and other subjects throughout the course of our engineering degree. Her methodical approach to explaining and solving questions and patience are amazing. I resat Engineering Mathematics 2 and with Anjela's tuition I went from a fail grade to an A2. Would 100% recommend
Worked in a lab with her for a couple weeks, i was a "lab helper" for her project using microfluidic devices to produce particles.
She explained the theory and the techniques and reasoning as we went along so i knew what to do and for the most part knew exactly why we had to do it and how it worked (though some of it was quite technical and was slightly out of my depth at some parts)
Was really enjoyable working with her and learned a lot in the processNot only is Angela a maths whizz, she is also very funny and makes the whole process of learning really fun. 10/10
- AndrewI study mathematics and computer science at the University of Strathclyde. I met Anjela 2 years ago and as a person I found her very interesting. She is very active both in terms of academia and outside of university. She has participated in a summer research project and has joined university clubs. I have had the opportunity to study with her and engage in scientific discussions that were very educative for me as she managed to get me interested in areas I had no knowledge of. Even though her degree is not in mathematics she has an outstanding understanding of mathematical concepts and has the ability to communicate these often difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand way. If you are looking for a tutor that can be fun and educative at the same time, Anjela is the right person for you.
Kristian FeherekAnjela is very intelligent, enthusiastic and dedicated to make a positive difference. She is great at communicating with people and I am sure she will go out of her way to help her students with the areas they struggle.
She's always paying attention to the details and ready to answer any question. Learning is an engaging process with her and it's fun, easygoing.
