About Talise
Hi! My name is Talise. I’m currently studying Materials Science and Engineering at UCLA with a passion for helping students build confidence in math and science. I believe the best learning happens when concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to each individual student, so I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome.
As both a STEM student and someone with a background in the arts, I understand that everyone learns differently. Whether we’re working through homework, preparing for an exam, or strengthening foundational skills, my goal is to help students truly understand the material rather than just memorize it. I will always try my best to be patient, adaptable, and am committed to helping each student reach their goals while making learning a positive experience.
