About Alexis
I’m an Engineering student and achieved all A’s at A-Level, with a strong background in problem-solving and analytical subjects. I’m passionate about STEM and love showing students that these subjects are exciting, challenging, and entirely achievable, especially for young women entering fields like engineering.
I focus on building understanding, confidence, and skills in a professional and supportive environment. My goal is for every student to leave a lesson feeling capable, motivated, and ready to tackle anything.

My approach to tutoring is straightforward, I focus on helping students actually understand the content rather than just memorising it. I break topics down step by step and explain them in a clear, simple way until it makes sense.
Lessons are focused but not intense. I go at your pace, and we can go over things as many times as needed. I’ll also ask questions to help you think through problems and make sure you’re actually understanding what’s going on.
Lessons are typically around an hour, but I can adjust depending on what you need.
I achieved all A’s at A-Level and I’m currently studying Engineering, so I have a strong academic background, particularly in analytical and problem-solving subjects. I understand how to approach exam questions and what’s expected.
My lessons are for secondary school students, especially those preparing for exams or needing extra support with understanding topics.
The aim is for you to leave each lesson with a clearer understanding and more confidence in the subject.
