About Sophie
I am a Civil Engineering student at the Toronto Metropolitan University who is very passionate about academics and helping others succeed. Through my experiences in university I have been able to develop strategies to perform well academically without overwhelming myself. I believe that studying should be a positive experience where understanding is prioritized rather than regurgitation.

A typical tutoring session includes going over areas of confusion in regards to the subject that the student is struggling with. Then based on that, I would either clarify any questions they have, or strengthen their understanding of that specific topic to fill any gaps in their knowledge. Furthermore, my sessions would highly emphasize practice problems, as that is the only way to solidify learning and perform well on assessments.
I would be able to provide lessons for elementary and high school math, chemistry, and physics, however I would need to know specifically what topics we would need to cover prior to our session.
