About Alex
I am an engineering student studying Electrical and Electronic engineering and Newcastle university. I have been a tutor previously long and short term for grouped work both formally and informally, working with varying age groups from 4-16 years supporting Mathematics, English language/literature, simple literacy and Mandarin Chinese. I believe tutoring requirements can differ depending on what is desired as a support for academic studies for individuals, and I’m eager to connect with student support before working with them in order to click and make the help more successful and genuinely helpful in the future. :)

I base my teaching style on the student/s I am working with, my methods will change depending on how they learn and what they need. I like to be flexible with how I provide support and help with a topic, varying from recapping particular topics in a subject together to working through exam questions together while making study points of attention as we go.
