About Eilidh
I am a third year engineering student looking to offer maths tuition to all levels, conducted online. Having sat my National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher only a couple of years ago, I am familiar with the content of these courses. While at school, I tutored students in second year and fourth year, specifically helping the latter with preparation for the National 5 exam. I am also a STEM Ambassador and as part of this scheme I have volunteered at Techfest 2019 and have also helped organise induction activities for first year students at university in September 2019.

I can provide tuition to all levels of secondary school; from transitioning from primary to preparing for Advanced Higher.
My sessions are, to a large extent, run by you. I would like to start by getting to know your confidence with maths and will ask you to identify any specific topics you struggle with. We can then focus in on these problem areas or, if you do not have these specific topics, we can work through the course syllabus, step by step. With each topic, I look to explain in detail, making sure you fully understand the topic and then do practice questions. Starting with easier questions and then bringing you up to exam-level in each topic, one topic at a time. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel at ease to stop and question me if you feel stuck at any point whilst I, in turn, check in often to make sure you are following the work.

Details
I charge £20 for each hour of lessons, excluding a first meeting to introduce myself and get acquainted with your current maths level. This first session is purely introductory and may not take as long as an hour.
