About Afshana
I have been teaching students Maths GCSE and SATs for the past 6 years. I have built this experience throughout the years by first initially working at a tuition centre and then transitioned into a private tutor over the years. I am available to teach weekends and after 6pm on weekdays, feel free to message me to discuss timings or if you would like to chat!

My method of teaching begins with the topic that the student is the weakest on until they have reached a good level of understanding to move on to the next topic. Once the student has covered all topics, I organise a small test to examine how well the student has understood the topics and review the content that they struggle most on.
My resonsibilities and Duties as a Tutor include:
-Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet the student’s academic needs and goals
-Clarifying and teaching subject matter
-Assessing students’ knowledge consistently upon every session
-Being a mentor to students
