Teaching Method and Lesson Plans - My teaching method is personalized and centered around active learning. I am very hands-on and always ensure my students are engaged and interested in our lessons. - A lesson plan will depend on the student's method of learning and/or goals, but the structure is as follows: 1. Review previous content and go over homework/assignments if applicable 2. Introduce new concept or problem-solving skill 3. Practice new skill by working through problems together 4. Answer questions and finish up with quick review 5 (Optional). Assign practice problems to be completed between sessions. What sets me apart? - I have 3 years of online and in-person tutoring experience ranging in a variety of settings and levels, and I am very passionate about teaching. I am very adaptable to different learning methods, and ensure interactive lessons to all my students Who are the lessons for? - Math: I teach math lessons ranging from elementary level math up to calculus 1, including; algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and SAT math preparation. - Spanish: I am a fluent Spanish speaker and offer math lessons in Spanish for bilingual and Spanish-speaking students.

Eliana was a miracle maker in my family. She got to teach math to my High School graduate daughter who had trouble with Math on her SAT grades and Eliana patiently went through the problems moving her math grade up to be higher than English assuring her SAT Score was good enough to pass in most colleges she applied for. It was not different with my Middle School Graduate... Bruna put on her head that she could not do math and Eliana was able not only to recover her grade to a B+ but also changed her confidence in Math which will improve the rest of her school life! Besides being a miracle maker, she was super flexible with her time, patient and very polite with me and my girls.
