About Rima
I have done a two-year Classes Préparatoires program after which I entered an engineering school. My English skills come essentially from six years of English classes in an American language centre as well as from using it as research language in my research activities in Artificial Intelligence. In my engineering school, I was able to get the TOEIC certification with the maximum score. I have given English lessons for a wide audience: high-school students, notably students who aimed at an Au Pair experience, adults, notably people wanting to sit for entrance exams for the French Marine.

My methodology will change according to the student's goals. If the student wants to pass an exam or certification, we will look at example exams and try to tackle their main difficulties. If their aim is to gain better language skills without specific goals, like obtaining certifications or sitting for exams, then we will have more freedom choosing our activities. I always let the student express their opinion on how the lessons work. I can easily adapt to their own preferences, HOWEVER, grammar knowledge is a must, and I cannot move forward in the lessons if the grammar basics aren't fully understood. So skipping grammar lessons is a no-no!
