About Michael
I am a postgraduate engineering student at the University of Portsmouth. During undergrad, I took multiple modules on maths and physics and was fascinated by most of them. My favourites were numerical approximations and logic circuits. I've helped multiple of my peers with these concepts along the way and always found the experience of helping others to be very rewarding. At my previous job, I was also involved in teaching new hires how to use certain essential tools to our team including tcsh scripting, the Linux terminal and git version control.

I like to start with a goal. A problem you want to solve or an application of the topic at hand. Then a degree of depth you want to reach. Maybe you want to pass an exam, just solve one specific problem or you want to programme a general solver. Then dive in and see what questions emerge. Not a questions person? Don't worry. I'll ask you questions until I know you understood. Finally, like to offer take home practice and further reading. Optional, but it is the key to fast and deep understanding.
