About Sathira
I'm a BSc Honors in Engineering Physics graduate at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. I have studied Physics, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics & Pure Mathematics at the university level specialized in Applied Physics. I have a strong academic record at the BSc level and now I'm a PhD candidate. I was a part of many innovative Engineering Physics projects at my university. I have experience in teaching for more than five years, to middle school to high school students; math & physics. I have studied advanced analog & digital electronics, instrumentation physics, applied linear algebra, quantum/classical mechanics, electromagnetism, solid state physics, robotics, computational methods, etc. I have research experience in materials science and recently presented an abstract at Global Physics Summit 2025, American Physical Society titled "IOT Enabled Printed LP Gas Sensor using Reduced Graphene Oxide / Tin(IV) Oxide Nanocomposite on Flexible Substrate."
