I asked Ali to help my son with grade 11 IB math standard level tutoring for an upcoming exam. So far my son has always labelled himself as 'not good in math,' and was initially hesitant to take on any further math lessons. Within a few lessons, my son reported increased enthusiasm and confidence with the subject. He said he understands where the equations come from, and is thus capable of knowing when to best apply them. He got a very good grade on his math exam he was preparing for, something he has not achieved in the last 5 years as far as I recall! Too bad Ali had to relocate out of town as otherwise I wanted him to continue with my son and also share his passion for math with my younger daughter!
