About Callie
My passion for engineering came from a desire to understand how things work and how they can work better. I was always questioning, disassembling, and redesigning ideas in my mind. Over eight years of teaching, I have refined that curiosity into a structured approach that empowers students to find clarity in complexity. Teaching engineering allows me to pass on precision, discipline, and innovation in a meaningful way.
I believe in adapting learning to the individual. Some students excel at theory, while others thrive in hands-on applications. I create a learning environment that honors both. My role is not only to instruct but to encourage, to challenge, and to support each learner’s unique intellectual journey. Engineering requires both patience and boldness, and I aim to instill both qualities in my students.
Outside of teaching, I continue to explore new technologies, study emerging systems, and participate in design-based learning. The world of engineering never stops evolving, and staying connected to that progress strengthens my teaching. Guiding students into this world of possibility is a responsibility I carry with pride and dedication.

Engineering is the bridge between ideas and reality, and my lessons focus on showing students how creativity and logic work together to build solutions. I begin by grounding learners in fundamental concepts such as forces, energy, systems, and materials. Through clear explanations and real-life examples, students learn that engineering is not just about equations, but about designing solutions for human challenges. My teaching environment invites questions, experimentation, and critical thinking, helping learners build both competence and curiosity.
As lessons progress, students explore mechanics, structures, electronics, and system design. I integrate theoretical understanding with practical exercises, including simulations, problem-based challenges, and creative builds. This method allows students to see the practical impact of what they’re learning. Whether someone is preparing for academic advancement or exploring future career paths, I ensure lessons remain relevant, engaging, and goal-focused.
More than anything, engineering develops a mindset of resilience. Problems become puzzles, and mistakes become stepping stones. Students learn to think independently, analyze logically, and persist through difficulty. My greatest success is seeing learners transform from hesitant beginners into confident problem-solvers who feel capable of shaping the world through innovation.
