About Sheng Yu
I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London. I am about to start my PhD in Oncology at the University of British Columbia. Academics aside, I am a friendly and easy to talk to person with strong interests in music (Kpop!) and rock climbing!

My lessons aim to help students achieve their best possible results and also help them enjoy learning their subjects. On top of drilling exam-style questions, I use interactive examples to engage students and help them understand concepts. Lesson plans are fully customisable to suit the needs of individual students. I have tutored kids of all ages (ages 13-19), including voluntary work with refugees (ages 7-14). My lessons are usually 1-2 hours long and are ideal for exam prep. I am also happy to help guide students towards choosing an appropriate university course that will suit their interests.
