About David
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate and now master's student. I minored in mathematics so I have taken high level courses such as Real / Complex Analysis. As an engineering graduate, I have also put many mathematical concepts to use in real projects which I can talk about in lessons if it seems interesting, helpful, or relevant to the topic. I have tutored hundreds of students between high school / college level in all levels of math and many related subjects, and nearly every experience was good.

I work well with all kinds of people. I prefer to ask about the specifics of the class, who is teaching it, what methods they teach etc. because I try to personalize each lesson. I tend to heavily use example problems, most people have specific problems to work on but if not, I will make up problems to put the skills to practice.
I can also be pretty good at using words to convey the visual meaning behind mathematical or physical scenarios in a way that can really help people understand the underlying concepts. I visualize math in a certain way which makes it come easily to me, and one of my goals as a tutor is for people to see math in a similar way.
