About Chacko
My name is Chacko, and I am a dedicated and patient tutor currently studying Mechatronics Engineering at QUT. My background in a technical, problem-solving field helps me explain concepts clearly, think logically, and support students in a structured and engaging way.
I have strong experience tutoring young students in both one-on-one and group environments, helping them build confidence in English through clear explanations, guided practice, and personalized feedback. I also volunteer at QUT through CONNECT and KickSTART, where I mentor high-school students and help them transition smoothly into university. These roles have strengthened my communication skills, leadership, and ability to engage learners of different ages and backgrounds.
Outside of tutoring, I run a growing social media page where I share music covers with a global audience. This has helped me develop strong presentation skills, creativity, and the confidence to connect with people in an authentic and engaging way.

My approach to English tutoring is centered on clarity, confidence‑building, and adapting lessons to each student’s level and learning style. I focus on breaking concepts down into simple, relatable steps and using real examples so students understand not just what to do, but why it works. I use a mix of guided practice, interactive discussion, and targeted feedback to help students improve steadily and feel comfortable asking questions.

I have experience tutoring English to young children in both one‑on‑one and larger group settings, including marking work, giving performance feedback, and helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills. My broader tutoring and mentoring background at QUT (CONNECT and KickSTART) has also strengthened my ability to teach clearly, patiently, and supportively.
