About Amit
I am a software developer my profession and a life long learner myself. These days I get my knowledge through podcasts and audio books during my daily commute. I love teaching. In my childhood, I used to teach my baby brother. In last few years, I have been teaching my child and family friends children. Even though my experience in professional teaching is limited, I would like to argue that I don't have a fixed and rigid methodologies of teaching which means, I can customise the methods as per student's needs. My aim will be to help anyone with my knowledge and experience in maths and problem solving to achieve their best and boost their confidence.

I have a good idea of preparation needed for entrance exams at various stages during primary schools as I helped my child prepare for his 7+, 10+, and 11+ exams of all the top private and grammar school in and around London. I am now helping him with GCSE maths and computer science subjects.
My teaching methodology involves understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the student through initial one to one sessions. After that address the weaker areas through regular practice and going through the fundamental concepts to make sure their foundations are strong. The methods and techniques for quick problem solving along with sense check during review help them become confident. I believe in encouragement and motivation to get best out of the children.
