About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie and I'm a mechanical engineering student in college. I love all STEM subject but understand the struggles that they bring so am looking forward to helping you with them. I have taken many math and science classes both in high school and college and am currently pursuing a mechanical engineering major with an electrical engineering minor while being in the honors program. Because of this I know a lot about these subject and would love to help you learn them too!

I have a flexible schedule and with work with you to focus on the subject you struggle with and will adapt to your learning style. These classes are for people struggling in their classes, those wanting to get a head start on certain classes, or those that want to learn these concepts in preparation for college.
In a typical session we will start with reviewing new information and practice work. From there I will introduce any new/unfamiliar concepts or concepts you previously struggled with in a short demonstration and lecture format. I will then give you questions that you can either solve independently, I can help you solve them, or I will show you how to solve them. To close off there will be space for you to ask any questions you have before I will give you some practice question that you can do until our next session.
