About Akila
Hi! I’m Akila, and I genuinely enjoy helping students grow more confident in their English writing. I believe writing doesn’t have to be scary — with the right guidance, it can even be fun! My lessons focus on building better sentences, structuring essays, and sparking creativity which will build strong foundations in a supportive and easygoing environment.

My approach is casual but focused. I break down writing into simple, digestible steps so it feels less overwhelming and more like something you get. Whether it’s structuring essays, fixing grammar, or making your ideas sound better, I tailor each session to what you need.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and can be adjusted based on your pace and goals. I’ve helped peers and juniors with academic writing, reports, and general English improvement — and now I’m excited to open it up part-time!
These lessons are best for primary and secondary school students, university students, or anyone who wants to improve their English writing in a chill, non-intimidating space.
