About Anouk
I am an experienced violin tutor with more than 5 years of teaching experience, specializing in working with college students. I enjoy helping students develop strong technical skills while also discovering their own musical voice. My lessons are designed to be clear, practical, and inspiring. My teaching approach is based on creativity, mentorship, and critical thinking. I believe every student learns differently, so I customize each lesson according to the student’s level, goals, and musical interests.
I focus on correct technique, tone quality, bowing skills, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. I also help students understand how to practice smartly and avoid common mistakes. To make learning effective and interesting, I use modern and innovative methods such as structured practice routines, visual demonstrations, recording analysis, and interactive exercises.
I encourage students to listen actively, analyze their playing, and improve step by step. For college students, I provide support for academic music requirements, exams, recitals, and ensemble performances. I strongly believe in accountability and consistency. I help students set achievable short-term and long-term goals, and I track their progress regularly. I give honest and positive feedback so students stay motivated and confident.
My role as a mentor is to guide, support, and challenge students in a healthy way. In addition to violin, I can teach basic music theory, ear training, rhythm skills, and performance preparation.
