About Kalyx
I believe in peer to peer counseling because I personally utilized it in times of immense hardship. When nothing seemed to be going my way, when things weren't working out, when I felt paralyzed to take a step, my peer counselors showed up for me, and showed me the light at the end of the tunnel.
Now that some years have passed, I can truly appreciate the guidance, encouragement, empathy, and support my peer counselors provided. It is not something I ever experienced in traditional therapy. I would often leave sessions thinking my therapist "didn't understand" and didn't help me make progress, feel unburdened, or feel any more optimistic.
At the end of my peer counseling experience, my peer counselors encouraged me that I could do what they did, and be great at it. I saw in them the same drive and desire to help others, that I saw in myself.

Are you struggling with issues such as PMDD, parenting stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, loneliness, infidelity, trauma, or insomnia? You are not alone. My peer counseling services offer a supportive, understanding, and empathetic environment tailored specifically for women facing these challenges. I will meet you where you are at on your path, and have an individualized approach taking your personal and prior history into account.

- Self-Confidence: Building self-esteem and confidence with guided exercises and positive reinforcement that extends beyond the sessions.
- Insomnia: Overcoming sleep issues with practical advice and supportive guidance. Let's get to the root of the issue. Here I specialize in meditation, and options counseling.
