About Ambar

I am a K-12 math tutor with an associates degree in general business and a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on cybersecurity. I have been tutoring for over 2 years and have helped students of all ages and levels improve their academic performance.

I have a strong foundation and a deep passion for mathematics. Whether it's algebra or calculus, I excel in breaking down complex concepts and making them accessible and enjoyable for my students to learn.

I leverage my technical knowledge in Business and Computer Science to incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into my tutoring sessions and provide insights into real-world applications of the subjects I teach.

My teaching method is based on the following principles:
• Direct instruction: I provide clear and concise explanations of the material.
• Active learning: I use a variety of activities and exercises to help students learn, including group work, problem-solving, and hands-on activities.
• Relevance: I make sure that the lessons I teach are relevant to the students' interests and needs.
• One-on-One instruction: I use a variety of teaching methods and materials to ensure that all students are able to learn and succeed.

A typical lesson with me would start with a warm-up, lead into instruction, then hands-on practice, and end with a short written or verbal quiz and feedback.
