About Ashley
I started dancing at age five and knew at 12 that I would be pursuing a career as a performer. I dove into dance, music, and acting lessons both privately and in studios and eventually earned a degree in dance performance before beginning my career in New York City. There, I continued to train and started auditioning for film, television, and stage. I worked as a dancer all over the country, touring for various choreographers. It was during my time in NYC that I realized how little training I had to be successful in the business. I had the craft, but I had no idea how to run the business. I eventually made my way to Los Angeles as my body aged me out as a dancer, and I started to focus on film and television. After years of trial and error, and mountains of money spent in classes and workshops, I eventually decided that producing my own content was the best way for me to be able to work on the type of projects I really enjoyed. That's when my career took off. I was finally starting to understand how the business worked from the other side of the camera and that made me more valuable as a performer. That work eventually earned me an Emmy Nomination and solidified what I wanted to be sure to implement when I finally decided to open my own Performing Arts Studio. I now teach artists all over the country who have a desire to work in this industry on a professional level. My favorite students are those who do their homework and come to class prepared for a breakthrough.

Welcome to the future of your career! I have 35 years of experience as a performing artist culminating in an Emmy Nomination in 2020.
I have a degree in dance, and I will be a stickler for proper technique.
I can polish routines for auditions, work on audition technique, and prepare you for life as a professional performer.
I also have professional Meisner Certifications in Acting. We dive into scripts and learn how to create specific and personal performances for stage or screen.
Professional performers also need to know how to run their businesses as freelance artists, so I will give lessons on money management, contracts, stagecraft, and film production.
Clearly, your lessons are specific to you, your level as a performer, and your most immediate needs.

Perfect! Great first lesson with Ashley.
In just 30 initial minutes, she understood the type of coaching I was needing and we dove right in. She had come prepared knowing the song material that I wanted to work on and I'm looking forward to growing as an actor. Down to earth, positive, real and honest.- Bill was an excellent student! Since he teaches music, he knew how to be coachable and was willing to be vulnerable as an actor! He also had excellent instincts! I was impressed! Ashley subbed for my dance and theater classes while I was out recovering from surgery. My students learned essential dance technique while cleaning their dances for the recital. For my theatre classes, she helped establish a culture of learning and challenged them to explore characters in new ways. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her as a dance and theater teacher!

Not only is Ashley a trust worthy teacher, she is Valued, I was trained under Miesner Technique for 2 years and I am here to tell you that Ashley understands what Director's and Casting Directors are looking for! She cuts through the basics and pulls out the Best in you! The individual coaching you get is spot on. She takes time with you to make sure you completely understand the character you are portraying, and all their emotions. I wish I would have met Ashley years ago she would have saved me thousands of dollars! I know Directors want a actors reel to look at not a random monologue.
