About David
For me teaching has been about working through the material in a way that students look forward to your next class. I mix the students favourite things with the grammar and topics that course books require you to work through to improve your level. That's why I include some art/coloring activities or homework to access a different area of the brain to increase retention and enjoyment for younger students. Everyone has easy and more difficult areas of language, but we can slow down when you need it. Don't worry. You'll get there in the end!

The communicative method used in EFL teaching is anothe rway of saying that you add local reference material to standard course work. An hour is usually enough per class, but would recommend at least twice a week for efficient retention. I have taught in EFL in several countries, and all the children have had their ownn things that they are interested in. I steer them towards their interests. I do the same for adults, too.
