About Blake
I am a skilled piano tutor with over 19+ years of teaching experience, working with students from school level to college and working professionals. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable and stress-free.
My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patience, and understanding each student’s needs. I design lessons that match their level and help them progress step by step. I focus on building strong fundamentals and improving gradually.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to support overall musical growth. I also include practical and creative learning methods to keep students engaged. My strength is making complex ideas easy to understand. I help students build discipline, improve technique, and develop confidence.
I guide them in maintaining regular practice and staying motivated. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and inspired to learn.

My teaching methodology focuses on adaptive, motivational, and creative learning. I believe piano lessons should inspire confidence, foster creativity, and build technical mastery. Through clear communication, I learn about each student’s strengths, goals, and challenges, enabling me to design lessons that are personalized, effective, and engaging.
Creativity is central to my approach. I encourage students to improvise, compose, and explore various musical styles, fostering self-expression and artistic growth. Flexibility ensures lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, making progress smooth, rewarding, and enjoyable.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology strengthens technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My aim is to guide students toward becoming confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
