About Yazan
I am Yazan Alnasr, a Software & Platform Engineer at Noon and a competitive problem-solver at heart. Originally from Damascus, Syria, I offer lessons in both Arabic (Native) and English (Fluent).
My journey in elite mathematics began early, representing the Syrian National Team at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2015). I carried this passion into university, competing three times in the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC 2017–2019) and qualifying for the prestigious International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC 2019).
Since graduating as a Software & Networking Engineer in 2020, I have turned that theoretical knowledge into practical expertise, currently building large-scale systems at Noon.

I am here to teach you how to think, not what to memorize—using the same problem-solving frameworks I mastered as an International Math & Coding Olympiad veteran.
As a Senior Software Engineer (currently at Noon) with 6 years of industry experience, I bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world engineering excellence. My goal is to turn "good" students into elite problem solvers.
** Who is this for? **
I work with motivated students (Grade 7 to University) who want to go beyond standard drills. Whether you are preparing for a math competition, struggling with advanced calculus, or aiming for a Big Tech career, we will focus on deep logic, not just passing exams.
** My Teaching Style: Mentor & Challenge **
The Mentor Phase: We solve problems collaboratively. I walk you through my thought process live, showing you how to deconstruct complex logic.
The Challenge Phase: For advanced students, I introduce "Olympiad-tier" problems (IMO, ICPC) to push your critical thinking limits.
