About Samuel
Hi! I recently retired from a thirty-three year elementary teaching career. I taught third and fourth graders in a self-contained classroom. The skills I have acquired have enabled me to promote effective learning strategies to a diverse group of students. I am well-organized, and I respond positively to any academic challenges that young people may face. They enjoy working with me because I am patient and friendly. I smile a lot! I am available to tutor you in reading, writing. or math.

I have a lot of tutoring experience. I met students at my local library and helped them to improve their grades and to gain academic confidence. I am available for online or in-person tutoring or full-time home-schooling in all subjects.
I know many methods that help students to learn their multiplication tables, fractions, and geometry concepts. For example, did you know that there are four fun ways to learn the nines tables?
I have a Master’s Degree in Developmental and Remedial Reading. My students have learned how to construct strong five-paragraph narrative, informational, and persuasive essays. I have tutored students with all types of abilities.
My goal is for the kids to learn and to have fun. I look forward to meeting you and helping your child to achieve success!
