About Sara
I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with concentrations in science and Spanish in 2006. During my education, I was a volunteer with Americorps tutoring reading and completed several practicums in classrooms. I spent seven years working with kids with behavior disorders teaching anger management, social skills, and life skills. I then became a private nanny for a family with two children with autism. I spent 7 years assisting the family with caring for and educating their children. In my spare time I tutored locally in math. In addition to all of the wonderful opportunities listed above, for the past three years, I have homeschooled my 11 year old son.
