About Angela
I received my Bachelor’s at Skidmore College in 2011 and Master’s of Elementary Education at Lesley University in 2012. I became certified to teach grades 1-6 and enjoyed a successful career as a teacher for nine years before transitioning to tutoring full-time in 2020. I have a proven track record of success working one-on-one with elementary-aged children. Helping students master reading and math skills is my specialty.

I was a classroom teacher in public and private schools at the elementary level from 2011-2020. When the pandemic hit, I pivoted to tutoring exclusively to support families through unprecedented times. I specialize in getting to know my students on a deeper level so that I can create lessons that tap into their interests and learning styles and open up new opportunities for learning for them. From supporting children who struggle to meet benchmarks to challenging students who excel and need an extra boost to keep them interested in their learning, I meet my students where they are at and work at their level. My diverse background of trainings, programs, and strategies allows me to find the best approach in each unique situation.
