About Imen

Hello! I'm Imene, and I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, Canada.

My academic journey has taken me across three countries: Tunisia, Turkey, and Canada. I began my higher education in Tunisia, where I completed intensive Mathematics and Physics preparatory classes (MP) and ranked 106th among approximately 5,000 candidates in the national engineering entrance examination. I later pursued my Master's degree in Turkey and completed my Ph.D. in Canada.

Throughout my academic and research career, mathematics has been at the heart of my work. From advanced mathematical modeling to artificial intelligence and engineering applications, I've experienced firsthand how a strong mathematical foundation opens doors to exciting opportunities.

I know that mathematics can sometimes feel intimidating, but I firmly believe that with the right explanations, patience, and practice, every student can make meaningful progress.

What motivates me most about tutoring is the opportunity to share my knowledge, simplify challenging concepts, and help students discover their own potential.

Whether you're struggling with a particular topic or aiming to achieve excellent results, I'll be happy to support you on your learning journey!

I offer online lessons in English and French, adapted to each student's level and goals.

**My Teaching Approach**

I believe that success in mathematics comes from understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable by breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps.

**My Teaching Methodology**

I adapt each lesson to the student's level, learning pace, and individual needs. My approach combines clear explanations, practical examples, and progressively challenging exercises. I encourage students to ask questions, develop their problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities.

**What a Typical Lesson Looks Like**

1. **Review:** We begin by reviewing previous concepts and identifying any difficulties.
2. **Explanation:** I introduce or clarify mathematical concepts using simple explanations and examples.
3. **Practice:** We work through exercises together, gradually increasing the level of difficulty.
4. **Independent work:** The student solves problems independently to reinforce understanding.
5. **Feedback:** We summarize key points and identify areas for further improvement.

**What Sets Me Apart**

I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, Canada. Before pursuing my international academic career, I completed intensive Mathematics and Physics preparatory classes (MP) in Tunisia, ranking 106th among approximately 5,000 candidates in the national engineering entrance examination.

This background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. Having experienced the challenges of demanding academic programs myself, I understand the importance of building solid foundations and developing effective study methods.

**Who My Lessons Are For**

I offer personalized mathematics lessons for high school, college, and undergraduate university students, including those preparing for examinations or pursuing scientific and engineering studies.

Whether you need help understanding difficult concepts, improving your grades, preparing for an important exam, or strengthening your mathematical foundations, I am here to support your progress.

**My objective is not only to help students solve mathematical problems but also to help them understand the reasoning behind each solution and become confident, independent learners.**
