About Rodney
I am an engineering student with a strong foundation in math and physics, and I focus on helping students understand the why behind concepts, not just how to get the right answer. My goal is to build confidence and problem-solving skills that students can apply independently.
My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I guide students through problems step-by-step, encourage them to explain their thinking, and use real-world examples and simple demonstrations to make abstract ideas more clear and engaging.
Each session is tailored to the student’s needs, starting with a brief review of key concepts followed by guided practice that builds toward independence. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

I approach tutoring as a collaborative process focused on understanding the why behind math and physics, not just getting the right answer. My goal is to help students build confidence by developing both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
