About Darla
My name is Darla and I am an Electrical Engineer. I work at a power company and use my education every day! I love math and physics and am best at explaining algebra (all levels), geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and physics. My experience includes teaching in a college classroom and leading high-stakes engineering research. I use positive reinforcement while teaching because I like to build confidence in my students. In my free time I'm a comedy writer so I will hopefully make you laugh while doing math.

I've learned a lot of tricks for solving physics problems and will pass them onto you. Before our lesson I'll review your homework. During our lesson, I'll quiz you make sure you feel confident in your understanding of the topic. I'll also be your cheerleader along the way.

Darla was the leader of our senior design project group when we were studying electrical engineering. She is so fun to work with, and definitely knows her stuff when it comes to math and physics!
I met Darla in college 8 years ago and we've been inseparable since. She attended the 5th best university for electrical engineering and is obsessed with high level math. She was a teaching assistant for multiple years, won awards in communications, had a personal relationship with the Dean, and lead the professional development board for her (coed) honors engineering fraternity.
Darla is a math wiz, a great communicator and a person of great integrity. Very nice as well. Highly recommended!
