About Clayton
Hello out there! My name is Clayton Sullivan. I have eight years of teaching experience and a strong passion for learning. Tutoring helps me solidify my knowledge while helping people to succeed in their academics. My credentials include a bachelor's degree with subject areas including calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, statistics, and linear algebra. In addition, I have completed the subject area examinations for elementary education through the Florida Department of Education, a CELTA certification, and a proven track record.

I'm great at prioritizing important areas for conceptualizing, applying knowledge, and assessments. When teaching math, I prefer textbook lesson planning. I generally start with an introduction to engage the learner, pre-teach any necessary work for completing activities. After that, I perform a guided activity, review areas for improvement, and finish with independent practice while continuing to monitor for further improvement. The way I conduct my lesson plans works because they are specifically designed to identify, improve, and cater to the learner's exact needs. My lessons have yielded the most success from smaller classrooms and one-to-one tutoring due to the heavy amount of student engagement they require for completion.
