About Megan
Growing up bilingual, I knew knowledge of different languages helped cater to a better handle on vocabulary, communication and self-expression. From 15, I began tutoring others in foreign language learning and have worked with students of all ages (the youngest being 3 and the oldest to date being 65). I've tutored in individual classes, group classes, as well as immersive language camps, around Spain and the New York area in the US.

I prefer to teach smaller groups of students to focus attention on their needs or questions during the given class time. I try to keep classes dynamic, especially for the younger students, with easy flowing conversation through games and songs and for the older students I assess the areas where they need more work to help them improve there while practicing their listening and speaking during the explanations of the lessons.

Details
The travel cost only applies to those classes where travel is over 10 km. If classes are cancelled within 24 hours of the class scheduled to take place, the fee will be charged anyway, except in the case of a medical emergency. This means as well that classes require to be booked with a minimum of 24 hours before the start of the class (no emergency tutoring available). The only case where an extra fee will be charged depending on level is for those advanced vocabulary classes looking to practice and learn vocabulary that is subject specific (ie business/marketing, mechanics, etc.) and those will require 36 hours between booking and class start.
